A rewarding seasonal job opportunity – spend your summer working outdoors in beautiful Lake Winnipeg cottage country!

Averaging between 20 and 32 hours weekly, work generally available Tuesdays through Fridays, almost every WEEKEND OFF. Wages depending on experience and quality of work delivered, from $16.50 to $17.50/hr. Exceptional candidates could be considered for a lead hand role, if/when required.

Services would include spring cleanups, lawn mowing with push and riding mowers, trimming with care, leaf and debris blowing, bagging, garden cleanups, weeding, hedge trimming, etc.

We have been providing exceptional lawn and yard services at cottage, residential and commercial properties from Winnipeg Beach to Victoria Beach for 8 seasons, and are continuing to grow.

Individuals must be able to provide own transportation to a range of starting points, either our home base outside of Libau, or work areas in the serviced Beach and/or Selkirk areas.

Successful candidates will be able to manage a variety of physically demanding tasks, in a wide range of conditions. Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs, work on feet for extended periods, bend, twist, kneel and crouch. Must be professional, client service oriented, reliable, and truly motivated to do quality work. Must have a valid MB drivers license and a clean abstract, experience with some or all of the yard services outlined is preferred. Willing to train highly motivated individuals with experience in most areas. Must have access to a smartphone, for access to daily schedules, routes, and documentation requirements. A criminal records clearance may be required.

Work will begin in early May, and can run as late as October depending on conditions. A detailed resume outlining work experience is required to participate in the hiring process.
